Speedy "Cab ride" in the Columbia gorge
This movie was shot by the gnarchive.com staff from the rear of the eastbound Empire Builder on July 1st, 2010 as it traversed the Columbia River gorge. A much longer version showing clips between Roosevelt, Wash. and Portland, Ore. is here»
This clip has been reversed and sped up 2x to keep it interesting (Just ignore the 120 mph apparent speed, cars zipping by backwards and the train running all of the Stop indications!).

- It shows from Doug's Beach to Rowland Lake. What you see in order on the video is the parking lot at Dougs Beach, the new Lyle siding, a tunnel and old Lyle (sidings used to store cars), Klickitat River bridge, Chamberlain Lake causeway. The second tunnel after the causeway is under the Hwy 14 rest area. You pass by a series of basalt pillars just before heading out onto the Rowland Lake causeway where the video ends.
